Yoshiaki Kaihatsu

Bon in 1966 in Yamanashi. Artist. Following the Great east Japan Earthquake, he launched the Dailily art Circus and eight artists who support the project, has been touring japan, mainly the Tohoku area. His exhibitions include Dia del Mar/By the Sea(MoMA PS1.2001), Venice Biennial 9th International Architecture Exhibition(2004), Berlin-Tokyo/Tokyo-Berlin(New National Gallery.Berlin,2006). Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial 2006,2009,2012, Planner of the " Thank You Art" Day, held annually on 9 March He graduated from Tama Art University in1991 and got M.A. Tama Art University in 1993. He is the winner of the 4th Taro Okamoto Memorial Award for Contemporary art(Taro Okamoto Museum of Art Kawasaki, KANAGAWA).
