Art at Tokyo Tech 2013

Celebrating 90 years of the Bechstein Piano

We are pleased to present “Celebrating 90 years of the Bechstein Piano” as the 2013 program for Art at Tokyo Tech. The Bechstein piano at Tokyo Tech was made in 1923, and its tone has continued to enrich the lives of students, professors and staff at Tokyo Tech since then. The 2013 program highlights the characteristics of the piano through performances of pieces ranging from the 19th century to the present. Your participation will greatly contribute to the success of the entire year-long program.
