Tokyo Tech offers various programs including exchange programs to the schools with international agreements of academic exchange, other short and long exchange programs. Graduate School International Exchange Program

Our graduate school of Decision Science and Technology individually introduces international exchange programs below.

Jyväskylä Summer School

 

(1)Outline:Participation to courses and social programs organized by Jyväskylä University which has international agreements of academic exchange with our graduate school. The language of instruction is English.
(2)Period:Aug. 7th. 2013 - Aug. 23rd. 2013
(3)Venue:Jyväskylä, Finland
(4)Costs:School fee is free of charge. Round trip flight (100,000 - 200,000 yen), accommodation(20,000 yen)and daily expense(20,000 yen - 50,000 yen) are individual payment. Tokyo Institute of Technology Foundation supported students last year (80,000 yen per 1 student).

ME310 Design Innovation Program

 

(1)Outline:This program is co-organized by Stanford University (USA) and ENPC (Ecole National des Ponts et Chaussé, France). Teams of international students will research and propose the new product design in accordance with the requests from supporting companies. The language of instruction is English.
(2)Period:September 2013 - June 2014 (tentative)
(3)Venue:Paris, France and Stanford, USA
(4)Costs:School fee (1,700 euro), insurance (208 euro), round trip flight, accommodation and daily expense are individual payment. Program is supported by several companies. French government housing aid is available.

(7)Application:Screening will arranged by ENPC based on the documents submitted and interview by Skype. Detail will be explained at the orientation, which will be scheduled in May- June.

Double Degree Program with ENPC (Ecole National des Ponts et Chaussé)

 

(1)Outline:According to Double Degree program with ENPC(Ecole National des Ponts et Chaussé), which has international agreements of academic exchange with our graduate school, students will receive master degree from each graduate school in minimum 3 years, provided they fulfill program requirements. The language of instruction is French. Students intensively learn French for half year before the degree course study (1.5 year at ENPC and 1 year at Tokyo Tech).
(2)Period:April 2014 - March 2017
(3)Venue:Vichy, France (French training) and Paris, France (degree course)
(4)Costs:School fee(admission 596 euro、tuition 706 euro)、insurance(207 euro)、round trip flight, accommodation and daily expense are individual payment as a rule. However student can apply for French government scholarship. Also, financial support from ENPC and French government housing aid are available.
(5)Eligibility:Japanese student in under graduate 4th grade, who will proceed to our graduate school.
(6)Application:Screening will be arranged by ENPC based on the documents submitted and interview by Skype. Detail will be explained with precise materials at the orientation, which will be scheduled in May- June.
